Mold & Water Loss

When a water leak occurs, it is important to take action quickly and evaluate the leak thoroughly to reduce costly building damage and prevent potential mold growth. Something as serious as this should be looked at by an expert from your community.

What We Do

We conduct meticulous evaluations utilizing cutting-edge moisture detection equipment and have over two decades of experience in water leak and mold growth detection. During an on-site inspection we provide clear direction on the best ways to rapidly dry moisture damaged building materials. If fungal growth is identified, we provide recommendations to safely contain and remediate the mold impacted areas.

After our inspection, we provide you a detailed report of our findings and also written recommendations for drying and clean-up procedures. Following the drying and abatement of the water leak/ mold impacted areas, we are also available to conduct post-remediation verification inspections and clearance air sampling if requested. Additionally, we offer sewage leak inspections, with special consideration of the biological hazards associated with this type of leak. Having an expert involved throughout the process ensures that you have done your due diligence to address the water leak and time and money is not wasted.

Infrared Thermal Imaging

Infrared Thermal Imaging is a non-intrusive and highly effective method for assessing the condition of buildings. It serves as a crucial tool for quickly being able to detect plumbing and building envelope water leakage. Additionally, it aids in evaluating air leakage, insulation defects, and various other building science applications. Advantages Include:

  • Moisture surveys are conducted quickly with minimal disturbance to building occupants and business operations
  • Minimizes the need for destructive investigation
  • Pinpoints moisture sources and structural problems
  • Reduces mold, moisture, and environmental sampling costs
  • Measures as-built or post-remediation conditions

Infrared services are available for both commercial & residential buildings. ES Consulting can provide professionally written reports that include observations and measurements for due diligence documentation. It's important to note that IR can only detect currently wet building materials, not those previously wet that are now dry.
